Jack's class at school performed the play, America's Tallest Tales. I think the story line was something about how Paul Bunyon lost Babe, the blue ox, and Paul visited with different fiction characters until his found Babe.
But the highlight of the whole play was one special story teller - Story Teller #3. I'm not talking about the girl in black hat singing a solo. I'm talking about the boy in the back wearing the super cool, blue plaid cowboy shirt over there on the left side... singin'.

Was he ever fantastic. A real star.
Maybe, just maybe, he'll be the next Brad Pitt.
You never know.

He sang and danced up a storm.
I couldn't believe it.
My little mom heart got all flustered and teary.

Then came THE song.
I could have sang along myself. Annie Christian. William still sings it almost every day.
No... Will wasn't in the play, but since he heard Jack practice it over and over, he memorized it himself. And once Will memories something... Ah, god bless us all.

Look, there is Jack again. More singin' and dancin'.
But he also had lines! Quite a few actually. He was up on the stage between every 'act' guiding the audience through the play.
Luckily I knew what he was saying since the gym had horrible acoustics. I was just so happy to see him trying.
I was so proud - it was no easy feat for him.

Look at him all cute and talking in front of a whole gym full of people.
And check out Chloe next to him. Clo-clo, as he calls her, is his girlfriend. They are in love.
Bravo!

Well done. Bow. Applause.
And where is my little star?
Smiling, because there's a new sheriff in town.

... and his name is Jack!
Congratulations to the P2 class of 2010.
Shine bright young stars... this is only the beginning.
